Online baby registry: free, for multiple shops and with no sign‑up required
Baby essentials, thoughtful gifts from your loved ones, and one link to prepare for your baby’s arrival.

- The essentials for babies
- All sites, all budgets
- Your loved ones can reserve without an account
Listopia is a completely free online baby registry with no sign-up required. Add items from any shop, share the link, and your loved ones reserve with their first name, without an account. A reserved gift cannot be reserved again; by default, you cannot see what is reserved or by whom. For a pushchair or cot, a loved one can start a gift pool: everyone records their contribution and payments are arranged directly between you, with no fees charged by Listopia.
More time to prepare for your baby’s arrival
Because neither you nor your loved ones need to create an account: the list is ready in minutes, and everyone reserves through the link you send them.
No account, neither for you nor for your loved ones
You create the list without e-mail or password. Your loved ones open the link, indicate their first name and reserve: nothing to install, no registration.
All stores on one list
A list for multiple websites: paste the link to an item from Amazon, Vertbaudet, IKEA or a second-hand website. The title, price and image are filled in when the website allows it. You can also write in an idea without a link.
No duplication, the surprise kept
A reserved gift can no longer be reserved by someone else. By default, you see neither what is reserved nor by whom.

A baby registry in three steps
Three steps are enough: you give a name to the list, you add gifts from any site, and then you share the link.

Baby birth list: the indispensables, by priority
From the first few days you need a car seat, a stroller, a bed with mattress and something to feed, change and bathe baby. Here are the equipment classified by priority, with an indicative price range.
Without these elements, the first days will be difficult. Put them at the top of the list with direct links so your loved ones can order them in advance.
Priority 1 — The absolute essentials
To be required before birthi-Size (R 129) car seat for newborn (80–400 €)
Mandatory upon return from maternity. Choose an i-Size registered seat (Regulation R 129), the only new one sold in the EU since September 2024. Common brands: Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, BeSafe.
Stroller / combined system (300–1200 €)
The pushchair is often the largest expense. A trio system (infant car seat + pushchair + chassis) is practical in the first year. Check compatibility with the car seat.
Cot + mattress (150–400 €)
Essential from the first days. The mattress must be firm (EN 16890) and fit the cot. Choose a cot that can adapt as your child grows.
Video baby monitor (€60–200)
Choose a model with night vision and a temperature sensor.
Priority 2 — Feeding and everyday care
Everyday needs: feeding, changing nappies and settling your baby to sleep. These items will be used dozens of times a day.
- Folding changing table (€60–150)
- Changing mat (€15–40)
- Bottle Sterilizer (30–80 €)
- Bottle warmer (€25–60)
- Electric breast pump (€60–200)
- Bottle pack (20–50 €)
- Baby bouncer / swing (€40–150)
- Ergonomic baby carrier (€40–130)
- Baby sleeping bags (0.5 or 1 TOG) (€20–50)
- Set of bibs and bodysuits (€15–40)
Priority 3 — Bath & Care
- Ergonomic baby bath (25–60 €)
- Digital bath thermometer (10–25 €)
- Soft hooded baby towel (€20–50)
- Electric nasal aspirator (€25–50)
- Safe baby nail cutter (15–30 €)
- Nappy cream / cleansing water (€10–20)
Development and play — gifts for enjoyment
For loved ones who want to give more sentimental gifts: developmental toys and cuddly toys.

- Musical mobile for cradle (20–60 €)
- Personalised soft comfort toy (€20–50)
- Night light (€20–50)
- Fabric baby activity book (€10–20)

Tips for success in birth list
A good list specifies sizes and gives the exact link for each item. It uses a gift pool among loved ones for larger purchases and is shared well before the birth. Here are the mistakes to avoid and the habits to adopt.
Listopia tip: your loved ones can open your list without creating an account. Send the link to your family by WhatsApp around the 5th or 6th month: everyone will have time to choose, order and team up for larger items.
Specify sizes for clothing
Newborn clothes (0–1 months) are often given in duplicate and quickly outgrown. Ask for 3–6 or 6–12 month sizes instead. Your baby will wear them for longer and they will be more useful.
Use a gift pool for larger purchases
Pushchair, cot, car seat: these expensive items are difficult for one person to give alone. Add them with their price: a loved one can start a gift pool for the item and everyone records their contribution. Payments are arranged directly between you, outside Listopia, and you keep control over the exact model and colour. It works just likea group gift.
Add direct links to the correct references
For a car seat or pushchair, specify the exact model, colour and reference. Your loved ones will not have to guess and will order exactly what you want. Paste the link from Amazon, Bébé 9 or Autour de Bébé directly.
When do you share the list?
Ideally, around the 5th or 6th month of pregnancy. Your loved ones then have time to plan their budget, order and arrange delivery. Some items have long delivery times (pushchairs, bedding).
Avoid adding too many clothes
Clothes are the “easy” gift that everyone gives spontaneously, even without a list. Limit them to 20–30% of your ideas and focus on useful equipment: you will have enough bodysuits anyway!
How much does a complete baby equipment cost?
Allow around €770–1,350 for a complete set of baby equipment on a tight budget, or €1,750–3,200 on a more generous budget: the pushchair and car seat account for the largest costs. The item-by-item breakdown is below.
* These ranges are indicative. Prices vary by brand and retailer.

| Equipment | Tight budget | Comfortable budget |
|---|---|---|
| Stroller / trio system | 300–500 € | 700–1200 € |

| Cot + mattress | 150–250 € | 300–500 € |

| Feeding (breast pump, bottles, etc.) | 80–150 € | 200–400 € |
| Clothing 0–6 months | 100–200 € | 200–400 € |
| Estimated total | 770–1350 € | 1750–3200 € |
